The Technical Support Facility Eastern and Southern Africa (TSF ESA) provides timely, high quality technical support for improved HIV programmes and strengthened health and community systems in 21 countries across the ESA region. Funded by UNAIDS and managed by Mott MacDonald, the overall objectives of TSF ESA are:
With more than 10 years’ experience, the TSF ESA is a respected provider of services in the health and social sectors, with clients ranging from local community-based organisations to national, regional and global level entities. We have a strong, strategic focus on supporting the full range of responses to HIV/AIDS. As part of the Mott MacDonald Group (MMG) the TSF ESA benefits from strong management systems, as well as a global network of competencies linked to health and broader development sectors that can be leveraged to enhance our services to local, regional and global clients.
In every aspect of our work the TSF ESA prioritizes local capacity development and skills transfer. The TSF ESA prioritizes use of skilled consultants from the region, and builds further capacity through local consultant development training, mentoring, and twinning.

The TSF ESA services are available to the full range of stakeholders engaged in the HIV and AIDS programmes. This includes national coordination bodies, government ministries, civil society organisations (CSOs), Country Coordinating Mechanisms (CCM), Global Fund grant implementing partners, businesses, United Nations (UN) agencies and other national, regional and international partners who work in the 21 focus countries.
